“Departure” is a 2D digital animation. The film was animated in TV Paint and edited in Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere. Inspired by my personal experiences, the short film tells the story of the three times my father took me to the airport during my years studying abroad. The theme of “Departure” revolves around family, longing, and growth. The film not only documents the relationship between my father and me but also captures the emotional traces that separation leaves over time. 

This is my 2026 2D digital animation showreel. The reel features selected clips from my work created throughout my first to fourth year at university. My visual style mainly focuses on using black-and-white linework to explore movement, emotion, and atmosphere. I hope you enjoy it, and I’ll continue to share more animation clips and works in the future.
